Asking allies for help
Military allies can defend, attack, patrol, or even build units for you.
In a call with a military ally, ask for help in your own words: protect a base, attack an enemy, patrol a sea. Your staff drafts the request, and you check it before sending.
An ally can also build units or defences for the job. They may do it as a favour, which you then owe them, or for a price.
Short of builders? Ask a military ally to send engineers to one of your bases.
Allies decide for themselves, and every task is short. Keep your side of the deal: failing to turn up for a joint attack is remembered.
