Calling a leader
Talk to another leader in your own words, like a private chat.
Press Request a call on the Diplomacy screen. If the leader picks up, type your messages and they answer in their own voice. The game pauses while you talk.
Leaders have limited patience. Insults, nonsense and repeating yourself make them hang up. Manners matter: get their name and title right, and say hello before you ask for anything.
In a call you can strike deals, make threats, ask for help or try to learn their secrets. Calls are held in English.
A leader short of money may hope you will help. Offer it, and send a gift right there in the call with Send a gift.
