Your advisors keep you posted in the Social View.
Reports arrive in the Advisors column of the Social View: battles, threats, money, diplomacy and the media. New reports are marked until you read them.
Each report gives the facts, often with a photo and a map, plus a short note in the advisor's own words. Buttons underneath take you straight to the next step, like building a defence or opening talks.
Their tone depends on you. Under a feared ruler they tread carefully, and for an unpopular one they keep it short.
