Who backs the news
Most outlets have a home country, and whoever holds it becomes their sponsor.
Every outlet except Routers and Boomberg has a home country. Whoever holds that country is the outlet's sponsor.
Take an outlet's home country and it starts speaking for you. Loyal outlets then praise you and your friends, and attack your enemies.
If the side holding an outlet's home country is knocked out of the game, the outlet speaks for nobody until someone else holds it.
Outlets care most about stories involving their sponsor, so a sponsor's deeds get far more attention.
